I joined a few weeks ago, and now I receive an email blast once a week that is packed with listings for different wine based events in NYC. The list includes standard free tastings at wine shops, open bar events, formal classes and workshops and dinners. My only complaint is that the listing is too dense, and it can be hard to sort through every single event, but that might not be the case in the emails that are sent to other cities.
